Full Description

The 379th Expeditionary Contracting Squadron, Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Galls, Inc, 2680 Palumbo Drive, Lexington, KY 40509-1000, to provide the following line items: 1. 52" Whelen Lightbar Q-LB542 for F150 Supercrew 4x4. 2. 48" Whelen Lightbar Q-LB542 for F150 Supercrew 4x4. 3. Lightbar Mounting Q-LB063 for F150 Supercrew 4x4. 4. Code 3 Mastercom Siren/PA Q-SK053. 5. Galls Speaker Q-SK076. 6. Go Rhino Guard/Speaker/Light Holder Q-SS065 for F150 Supercrew 4x4. 7. Galls StreetLightning Par 36 Strobes Q-GR101. 8. Whelen Strobe Flat Lighter Q-GR085. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 6.302-1(b)(1). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within seven (7) days after date of publication of this synopsis. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of request for quotation. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. The 379th Expeditionary Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source contract three (3) business days after publication of this notice.
