Traceability is mandatory from raw material through final assembly, requiring permanent marking linked to certified test reports, and strict segregation and control procedures to prevent commingling of materials. All certifications must be positive, unqualified, and directly tied to traceability identifiers, with no disclaimers permitted. All contractors must maintain a quality management system compliant with ISO-9001 or MIL-I-45208, with calibration aligned to ISO-10012 or ANSI-Z540.3 and ISO/IEC 17025, and must allow Government quality assurance inspection at source, including at subcontractor facilities. Welding and brazing must be performed under qualified procedures per S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248 or 0900-LP-001-7000, with all procedures, welder qualifications, and consumable certifications submitted for prior approval, including the Consumed Weld Metal Certificate of Conformance.
