DESC: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO M. I. C. Industries, Inc., to provide the following item: 1 Each MIC-50 Heavy Duty Trailer, Mounted Multi-Coil Feeder (PN MIC50) & Software UNDER AUTHORITY OF FAR 13.501(a)(1). M. I. C. Industries, Inc., 11911 Freedom Drive, Reston, Virginia 20190. The resulting award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists. No contract award will be made on the basis of any Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. This purchase will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 13.501. The anticipated award date is 2 August 2012.
