The Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal plans to award a sole source contract to IntoPrint Technologies, Inc., headquartered in Roanoke, VA, for the servicing and repair of a Roland Verse Camm VP-540 Printer/Plotter. This decision is based on the unique capability of IntoPrint Technologies, as recognized by Roland DGA, which identifies them as the only local provider equipped to service Roland equipment with access to proprietary specifications and parts. No solicitation package will be issued, and the acquisition will proceed under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) authority, emphasizing the lack of competition due to specialized service requirements. Although this is an intent to sole source, the government will consider any responses received by 2:00 PM CT on December 23, 2014, to assess whether competition is warranted. Interested parties must provide detailed information about their company, including DUNS and CAGE codes, points of contact, and a description of services comparable to those provided by IntoPrint Technologies. However, the government reserves the sole discretion to determine if a competitive procurement will occur. The contract is managed by the Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal, with Michael Baez as the primary point of contact for submissions and inquiries.
