This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Acquisition Center (NAC), HTME Contracts is requesting procurement information for a commercial laundry project. The National Contract Service is in search of SDVOSB and VOSB organizations that are capable of servicing the Department of Veterans Affairs San Juan, PR, Medical Center need to procure the following commercial laundry equipment item(s): ITEM # 1 - Recessed Soiled and Clean Sides Floor Scales: Furnish and install two (2) each, recessed floor scales. ITEM # 2 Soiled Sorting Weight Sling Carts: Furnish and install seven (7) soiled sorting sling carts on the soiled side of the laundry. ITEM # 3 Soiled Storage Conveyor with Sorting Accumulator: Furnish and install one (1) soiled storage and sorting accumulator system. ITEM # 4 700/800 Pound Production Washer Extractor: Furnish and install one (1) each 700/800-pound production washer extractor. If you will NOT be manufacturing the equipment, you MUST provide information on the manufacturer you intend to use. If you will NOT be performing the installation, you must provide a Letter of Intent from the business you intend to use (explaining their agreement with you to perform the installations according to the solicitation), along with references of their past laundry equipment installations. *NOTE Acquisitions will only be set aside for SDVOSBs/VOSBs if responses are received with the required information listed above, by the due date specified below.
