36--Water Well Drill Rig Sustainment Parts

The United States Army Contracting Center , Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD (ACC-APG) intends to amend Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ)contract W91CRB-10-D-0022 and award a sole source order to Laibe Corporation, located at 144 Bates Street, Indianapolis IN 46201-3944 in support of the Rapid Equipping Force (REF) for approximately one hundred different types of sustainment and repair parts in order to keep three (3) Water Well Drilling Rigs under W91CRB-10-D-0022 operational for and additional four months. The Laibe Corporation received the award to provide Water Well Drilling Rigs via Solicitation W91CRB-10-T-0031 advertised on FedBizOpps. Laibe Corporation owns all proprietary rights related to these Rigs, as well as the associated necessary sustainment and repair parts, and as such is the only source who can fulfill the requirement. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.3.02-1, Only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements.
