Full Description

This contract includes all described work to be performed at one project site (GUE-I77-14.87).The Bidder will present a complete bid proposal to fully install an owner-supplied liner pipe inside the existing structure at SFN 3003302_Bridge Number GUE-I77-14.87 as per SS837 and all applicable portions of this contract, except as otherwise described below. The Bidder’s entire bid will be presented on the provided ITB 365-27 Pricing Sheet. Any necessary items and/or quantities not included in the ITB 365-27 Pricing Sheet will be considered as incidental to the Bidder’s pricing proposal.Prior to bid, the Bidder will review the existing construction site at SFN 3003302_Bridge Number GUE-I77-14.87 to determine what portions of the temporary works can be utilized to continue this installation project. The existing 60” side conduit casing running parallel to SFN 3003302 and positioned just north of SFN 3003302 may be utilized for water control during this project. Additional temporary flow capacity may be provided by temporary pumping systems aligned underneath the I.R.-77 bridges (SFN’s 3003272 & 3003248) to the outlet area of culvert CFN 1824268 (72” diameter). All costs to utilize, modify, supplement, resupply, rebuild, and subsequently remove temporary works after the proposed liner is installed will be included within the Bidder’s pricing proposal.The Bidder will utilize all supplied and staged segments of 142” I.D. / 144” O.D. ODOT C&MS 707.18 Smooth-Cor conduit and all associated hardware necessary to install the liner pipe. This material is staged at the project site for installation with this contract. Prior to bid, the Bidder will review the supplied conduit and all associated hardware at SFN 3003302_Bridge Number GUE-I77-14.87 to determine whether any portions of the supplied material need resupplied to complete this installation project. All costs to prepare the site for installation, remove or modify temporary rigging/falsework, and utilize, resupply, install, etc. the liner conduit will be included within the Bidder’s pricing proposal.The requirement contained in Supplemental Specification 837 to submit the installation plan 15 days prior to installation is reduced to 4 days for this project.
