The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, Florida intends to solicit on a sole source basis ALTI-2, Inc. 1400 Flightline Blvd. Suite E., Deland, Florida 32724-2140 for the acquisition of Parachutist Individual Equipment Kits (PIEK) components. The items being acquired are: Three Hundred Fifty Eight Altimaster II (FP-02080) Altimeters. The item being acquired has undergone extensive testing and qualification under the MARCORSYSCOM Parachuting Authority. Each part has been tested to perform to rigid requirements as specified in Marine Corps Order (MCO) 3500.20A for Marine Corps Parachuting and Diving Policy and Program Administration. Only those articles, which have been successfully tested, are qualified. The objective of this process is to verify that the system provides acceptable levels of safety and mission critical support throughout the system specific operating range and reasonable assurance that the mission can be completed. Only this equipment provided! by ALTI-2, Inc. has been successfully tested and qualified by the U.S. Marine Corps.
