The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Pekin, Illinois, intends to issue solicitation RFQ41103-015-9 for the requirement of: Quarterly Subsistence items. The solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination. Delivery will begin July 2009. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, 2600 S. Second St. Pekin, IL 61554. The contract type is firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to responsible offeror(s) whos offer, conforming to the solicitation, are considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Items will be awarded based on price and past performance, with price being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about June 2, 2009 and will be posted to the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. All future information regarding this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed through this site.
