The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP), 700 Robbins Avenue, Philadelphia, PA intends to issue a solicitation for NSN 4130-01-511-7193: a Compressor with Retrofit Kit. The NSN is a Non-Commercial item which supports the Environmental Control Unit (ECU) manufactured by KECO Industries and is identified as KECO Industries part numbers 9454268-7 or 12OK1941-1. The Compressor and Retrofit Kit is used to fit older models 2 and 3 ECUs which services Harvest Eagle and Harvest Falcon test-based housing modules. The exact product is required. The Government does not possess complete unrestricted technical data. Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) is KECO Industries authorized distributor. The anticipated acquisition is for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) which will have a two (2) year base period and three (3) one-year Options under which the Government can extend the term of the contract unilaterally. The annual estimated demand for the item represents the Government?s good faith estimate of annual demand. The estimated demand quantity for the two (2) year base period is 672 each. The estimated demand quantity for the three Option years is 225 each for each year. The total estimated value of the five year contract is $2.75M. The unit of issue is each. Delivery will be made FOB Destination to the stock depots in New Cumberland, PA and/or Tracy, CA and is requested within 150 days after receipt of order. Radio Frequency Identification will be required for shipments. FAR Numbered Note 22 and 26 apply. This procurement will be evaluated utilizing low price technically acceptable practices (FAR 15.101-2) Solicitation SPM8E0-07-R-0001 is expected to be issued on May 15, 2007 with an estimated closing date of June 15, 2007.
