The USCG Training Center Cape May plans to issue a sole-source contract to Carrier Commercial Systems & Sales located in Plymouth Meeting, PA, for the procurement of three Carrier AquaSnap air-cooled chillers. The procurement will cover equipment only, with no installation included. This sole-source action is authorized under specific Federal Acquisition Regulations that permit non-competitive negotiation when only one responsible source is available. Although this notice does not constitute a request for competitive quotations, any quotes received within three days of the notice issuance will be reviewed and may influence future procurement decisions. The government retains sole discretion to determine whether competition is warranted based on responses to the notice. Interested parties are directed to submit any quotations via email to the designated contracting officer, Shirley L. Green. This notification is published for informational purposes, indicating intent but not formally soliciting bids.
