The Ohio Department of Public Safety / Barberton Driver’s Exam (DX) is accepting bids for janitorial services at the Canfield DX. Janitorial Services are to be provided five days per week, from (Tuesday-Saturday), excluding state holidays after business hours (usually after 5:00pm). This will be coordinated between the DX Supervisor and Independent Contractor. Please see attached Scope of Work and contract sample for details. The Mandatory Site Visit will be held the week of Tuesday July 27 - Friday July 31, 2026, from 9:00am - 4:30pm at the Canfield Driver's Exam (DX) Building, 417 E. Main Street, Canfield, OH 44406. Please check in at the front entrance desk. Attendance will be taken. The state will not be responsible to a supplier for their failure to obtain information discussed during the site visit due to their arriving after the site visit has been convened. Bidders who fail to attend the Mandatory Site Visit and print their name on the sign-in sheet will be deemed not responsive.CONTRACT AWARD The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. A purchase order (PO) will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive quote as a result of this solicitation.PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The resulting award will be a one year contract for state fiscal year 2027 Time of Executed Contract– June 30, 2027.
