This firm fixed price contract, solicitation number AG-6395-S-07-0083, is issued by the USDA Animal Plant Health Inspection Service for the procurement of Tychem SL122T taped seam protective coveralls. The requirement includes an initial order of 54,000 coveralls in sizes ranging from small to XXXL, with an additional option to purchase up to 20,000 more units within 60 days of the contract award. An amendment specifically clarifies that all quoted suits must be the SL122T model to correct previous erroneous references to the SL122B model. The acquisition is a full and open opportunity evaluated based on a trade-off between price and technical capability, specifically the ability of the product to provide minimum mid-level protection. Delivery terms are FOB Origin, and shipping costs will be handled as a separate reimbursable line item. Award decisions may result in multiple contracts or a combination of line items awarded to a single offeror based on the most advantageous offer to the government.
