Full Description

This project consists of providing all parts, labor, equipment, tools, and material to design, fabricate, and install a new Hydraulic Power System (HPS), designated XT10.80B. The HPS shall contain a hydraulic power skid, heat exchanger skid, and accumulator banks. Also, the hydraulic system XA10.80A shall be taken out of service and all equipment removed from the area to a designated location. Major tasks of this work include, but are not limited to: A. New hydraulic power skid XT10.80B shall provide 300 gpm and be capable of producing a pressure of 2000 psig. The operating pressure for the unit shall be set to the range of 1400-1600 psig. B. The heat exchanger shall be separate from the hydraulic power skid. C. The accumulator skids shall contain twenty-three (23) ten (10) gallon accumulators. D. Piping (supply and return) connecting the new hydraulic power system to the existing actuators. E. Site Preparation. F. A shelter shall be provided for the hydraulic skid. G. Removal and Cleanup of XA10.80A Hydraulic System. H. Motor control center, wiring, and all additional components shall be provided and installed by the Contractor for the hydraulic power system. Delivery will be FOB Destination to Arnold Air Force Base Tennessee 37389. Performance period will be 270 days after notice of award. Request for Proposal will be available on or about 29 May 2007 with a response date of on or about 28 June 2007 at 2PM Central Standard Time. NOTE: Request for Proposals will only be available electronically at the FBO website. No hardcopies, faxes, or emails will be available.
