Full Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract with SPS/Moble Pulley Works Inc citing FAR part 6 subpart 6.302-1. To the best of the Government's knowledge, there are not any other firms that can satisfy this requirement. The work to be done under this contract consists of rebuilding one Mobile Pulley Works Shell Pump Model 32x38x80, pump assembly number A-5273, and providing Suction throat liner - item 8 drawing C1907, 3 each; Suction side liner - item 5 drawing C-1903, 2 each; Bearing side liner - item 6 drawing C-1904, 2 each; Shaft sleeve - item 10 drawing B-5628, 4 each; Grommet item 18C drawing A-5274, 96 each; Seal Ring 5 quote mark x 79.5 quote mark , ID Item 7, 4 Each; Seal Ring 5 quote mark x 80.5 quote mark , ID Item 7A , 4 each; and Seal Ring 5 quote mark x 45.37 , ID Item 7B, 4 each. Award of this contract will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS, however interested firms may submit a capability statement in response to the above requirement with cost/price information by February 25, 2013 @ 02:00 PM CST to Jackie Primer, Contract Specialist, Phone: +1 (555) 000-0000, Fax: +1 (555) 000-0000, Email: contact@example.gov.
