This firm-fixed-price contract is for the repair and modification of 50 reciprocating pumps, specifically the FMC Model M08-16-CN. The agreement requires that all work be performed by authorized sources capable of complying with original equipment manufacturer specifications and standards. A critical requirement is the Repair Turnaround Time of 150 days, measured from the physical receipt of the asset to the date of acceptance. Failure to meet this timeline will result in a price reduction per unit per month, unless the delay is determined to be excusable. The contractor is responsible for all costs associated with the complete repair of materials, including those that arrive in unwhole or damaged condition. Government source inspection is required, and all items must be physically identified according to MIL-STD-130. The contract also establishes a process for handling assets determined to be beyond economical repair, allowing for a negotiated test and evaluation fee. Freight is handled as FOB Origin via Navy CAV or Proxy CAV.

Request for Information: Additive Manufacturing
Solicitation # N0010427RZ058
The Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support is conducting market research through Request for Information N0010427RZ058 to identify qualified sources capable of designing, producing, and delivering piece part components or entire assemblies using additive manufacturing methods. The government is specifically interested in vendors who can meet rigorous manufacturing, material, performance, testing, and quality assurance requirements. While the current focus is on a candidate list of National Item Identification Numbers for valves, actuators, and manifolds, the government anticipates that Level I and SUBSAFE items may become eligible for additive manufacturing in the future. Interested businesses must provide detailed administrative data, descriptions of their manufacturing capabilities, facility certifications such as ISO 9001 or AS9100, and evidence of past performance with similar military or commercial hardware. Additionally, the government is soliciting industry feedback on the development of objective evaluation criteria and the structuring of performance-based incentives for future Firm-Fixed-Price contracts. All produced components must be fully interchangeable with traditionally manufactured equivalents and strictly adhere to the baselines established in Project Peculiar Document 802-8436658. Responses are due by October 22, 2026.
