The US Army Contracting Center, Natick Contracting Division, acting on behalf of the United States Marine Corps Systems Command, is seeking information regarding a small footprint sanitation center. This equipment is intended to integrate with the Marine Corps Enhanced Tray Ration Heating System, a mobile kitchen capable of preparing up to 250 rations per meal near battlefield environments. While the current system supports baking, boiling, and grilling, it lacks the necessary capability to sanitize cooking appliances, pots, pans, and serving wares within its limited space. This request for information is a sources-sought notice and not a formal solicitation. The government is attempting to identify potential vendors capable of providing a compact sanitation solution that fits the specific spatial constraints of the kitchen in a box system. Interested parties were required to respond by November 30, 2011, under NAICS code 339999.

***THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION** The US Army Contracting Center, Natick Contracting Division on behalf of the United States Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is requesting information on a small footprint sanitation center for use in the Marine Corps Enhanced Tray Ration Heating System (ETRHS). The ETRHS is a 'kitchen in a box' that allows the Marine Corps food service personnel to prepare up to 250 rations per meal for the Marines on or close to the battlefield.
