Full Description
This notice is a Market Research Request, responses are for informational purposes only.
The Department of State, Global Acquisitions, Acquisition Management Directorate, Diplomatic Mission Support (GA/AMD/DMS) is conducting market research for a procurement to support the Computer Investigations and Forensics Division (DS/CTS/CTI/CIF). The Government seeks to identify vendors that can provide the complete 45Drives Storinator-brand storage system described in the attached Statement of Work, which is critical for the long-term safekeeping of digital forensics evidence. The storage system will provide three critical requirements: active storage, backup storage, and disaster recovery encompassing both on-site and off-site storage hardware.
Physical equipment will be delivered within 30 days after receipt of order.
Period of Performance: The period of performance for the service components will be five years from the date of the award.
We anticipate that this will be a brand name requirement for 45Drives solutions specifically. However, submitters may propose products and services that are “equal” in nature. If doing so, please provide a thorough description of the proposed products and services, their salient characteristics, and a description of how they meet the Government's requirement. Whether a quote is for the 45Drives solution in the SOW or for an equivalent solution, the Government will only review quotes from vendors who are authorized resellers of all proposed line items.
If this requirement is competed via an RFQ, a C-SCRM Questionnaire will be required and a State Department Secure Software Development Attestation Form may be required. Submitters must confirm whether they would be able to complete the C-SCRM documentation (attached) if required by a future solicitation.
Based on the responses to this notice, this requirement may be set aside for small businesses or procured through full and open competition. This notice is a Sources Sought Notice only and the Government is not under any obligation to reply to any communications submitted in response to this notice.
