Sources sought notice & Request for Information. This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. No solicitation is available at this time. The purpose of this RFI is to gauge vendor interest to properly plan for a future solicitation. No award will be made based upon responses to this RFI. This RFI is released pursuant to FAR 15.201e, Exchanges with Industry. Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk - Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Annex is seeking sources to provide Level I QA-A, 3? IPS, Nickel-Chromium-Iron Alloy, Schedule 160 Seamless Level I pipe in accordance with MIL-DTL-23227F In accordance with FAR 15.202e, responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Pricing information should not be submitted at this time. Only responders who meet the following criteria should respond to this sources sought notice: 1. Can provide pipe that meet ALL aspects of MIL-DTL-23227F 2. Has the ability to provide Ultrasonic testing procedure, Liquid Penetrant inspection procedure, Alloy Identity testing procedure in accordance with MIL-STD-2132D (no submittal required prior to contract award). 3. Has an active CAGE Code with the Central Contractor Registration. 4. Does not appear on the Excluded Parties List Responses should include the following information: 1. Responder’s contact information including company name, P.O.C. name, telephone number, fax number, email address, street address, CAGE, and TIN 2. Name of Manufacturer where pipe will be produced as well as country origin. 3. Provide company’s Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) POC and location. Please fax your responses to the attention of Nicholas Kulakowski at 207-438-1251 no later than 3:30 PM ET on 18 May 2012.
