AI Contract Overview
The Almond-Bancroft School District is seeking proposals for the procurement and installation of approximately 62 wireless access points, consisting of 60 internal and 2 external units. The required hardware must be Meraki or an equivalent brand supporting WiFi 6/6E or better, with OFDMA and MU-Mimo capabilities. The scope includes all necessary mounting brackets, one-year software licenses, and comprehensive installation, configuration, and activation services. Multi-gig capable ports will be considered if they provide a cost-effective future-proofing solution that integrates with existing or planned switch models. Vendors must submit a signed Proposal Overview document as an attachment to avoid disqualification, and robotic or spam responses will not be accepted. While the district may consider product capabilities and the overall fit of the service provider, the primary evaluation factor will be cost-effectiveness. Proposals should align with the estimated quantities provided, though vendors may adjust numbers based on their professional assessment of the district's needs. All submissions must adhere to state and local procurement regulations.

Once downloaded sign the Proposal Overview and name the file Proposal Overview - Service Provider (Actual Service Provider Name Inserted)- -3. Be sure to include this Proposal Overview file as an attachment to your submitted proposal to the district.- -4. Reminder: The 470 application provides the District's best estimate of the number of items we are seeking in the "Quantity" field in order to indicate to potential service providers the size and scope of our project in the 470. Service providers are free to propose a higher or lower number in their proposals based on their assessment of our needs, if the proposals are clearly responding to our needs as described in the FCC Form 470. Cat1 requests are a bit more restrictive, but can provide a range of defined bandwidths.- -5. The District will select the most cost-effective proposal. The price of the eligible products and services must be the primary factor in the evaluation, but does not have to be the sole factor. The District will also consider additional factors such as the capabilities of manufacturer products/services proposed. The most effective fit between the service provider and the District, from the District's perspective, will be considered. The service provider's actions to construct a proper proposal per the District's expectations will also be evaluated. The District may consider other factors at their discretion. The District values valid clinical communication that does not provide an unfair advantage over any other participating service providers. For emphasis again: Price will be the highest weighted factor in the evaluation of proposals.-
