AI Contract Overview
The Fond Du Lac School District is seeking proposals for three year software licenses for wireless access points and switches to serve 14 eligible category 2 schools. The request includes an estimated 279 licenses for Aruba 515 WAPs and 30 licenses for Aruba 6300m switches, or equivalent options that ensure full interoperability with existing hardware. No hardware is being purchased. All licenses must be structured to align precisely with E-rate Funding Year dates, running from July 1st through June 30th. Proposals must also include necessary installation, configuration, and activation services. Vendors are required to sign and submit the Proposal Overview document to avoid disqualification, and robotic or spam responses will not be considered. While the district may consider product capabilities and the overall fit of the service provider, the primary evaluation factor will be cost-effectiveness. Interested parties should contact the technical lead for specific local procurement regulations and ensure all submissions are completed by the January 28, 2026 deadline.

Once downloaded sign the Proposal Overview and name the file Proposal Overview - Service Provider (Actual Service Provider Name Inserted)- -3. Be sure to include this Proposal Overview file as an attachment to your submitted proposal to the district.- -4. Reminder: The 470 application provides the District's best estimate of the number of items we are seeking in the "Quantity" field in order to indicate to potential service providers the size and scope of our project in the 470. Service providers are free to propose a higher or lower number in their proposals based on their assessment of our needs, if the proposals are clearly responding to our needs as described in the FCC Form 470. Cat1 requests are a bit more restrictive, but can provide a range of defined bandwidths.- -5. The District will select the most cost-effective proposal. The price of the eligible products and services must be the primary factor in the evaluation, but does not have to be the sole factor. The District will also consider additional factors such as the capabilities of manufacturer products/services proposed. The most effective fit between the service provider and the District, from the District's perspective, will be considered. The service provider's actions to construct a proper proposal per the District's expectations will also be evaluated. The District may consider other factors at their discretion. The District values valid clinical communication that does not provide an unfair advantage over any other participating service providers. For emphasis again: Price will be the highest weighted factor in the evaluation of proposals.-
