The Montello School District is seeking proposals for a five year licensing agreement for Meraki or equivalent network equipment to serve Forest Lane Community Elementary, High Marq Environment Charter, and Junior/Senior High. The request is strictly for licenses and does not include hardware purchases. Specifically, the district requires one firewall license compatible with the MX250, 76 wireless access point licenses, and 14 switch licenses. All licenses must be structured to align precisely with the E-rate Funding Year, running from July 1st through June 30th. The contract includes requirements for necessary installation, configuration, and activation services for each item. Proposals will be evaluated primarily on cost-effectiveness, though the district will also consider product capabilities and the provider's ability to meet specific submission guidelines, including the signing and attachment of the Proposal Overview document. Robotic or spam responses will be disqualified. Interested vendors should coordinate with the technical contact regarding local procurement regulations and ensure all manufacturer details are clearly listed in the price proposal.

Once downloaded sign the Proposal Overview and name the file Proposal Overview - Service Provider (Actual Service Provider Name Inserted)- -3. Be sure to include this Proposal Overview file as an attachment to your submitted proposal to the district.- -4. Reminder: The 470 application provides the District's best estimate of the number of items we are seeking in the "Quantity" field in order to indicate to potential service providers the size and scope of our project in the 470. Service providers are free to propose a higher or lower number in their proposals based on their assessment of our needs, if the proposals are clearly responding to our needs as described in the FCC Form 470. Cat1 requests are a bit more restrictive, but can provide a range of defined bandwidths.- -5. The District will select the most cost-effective proposal. The price of the eligible products and services must be the primary factor in the evaluation, but does not have to be the sole factor. The District will also consider additional factors such as the capabilities of manufacturer products/services proposed. The most effective fit between the service provider and the District, from the District's perspective, will be considered. The service provider's actions to construct a proper proposal per the District's expectations will also be evaluated. The District may consider other factors at their discretion. The District values valid clinical communication that does not provide an unfair advantage over any other participating service providers. For emphasis again: Price will be the highest weighted factor in the evaluation of proposals.-
