AI Contract Overview
The Sparta School District is seeking proposals for Category 2 internal connections to support seven eligible schools. The project includes the procurement of one high-performance firewall with at least 10 Gbps throughput and a three-year license, 352 WiFi 6/6E wireless access points with five-year licenses and mounting brackets, and 59 Layer 3 Lite POE+ switches with five-year licenses. Additionally, the district requires 25 UPS units of approximately 1500VA, at least 177 feet of DAC cabling, and all necessary installation, configuration, and activation services. Vendors must submit a signed Proposal Overview document as an attachment to avoid disqualification, and robotic or spam responses will not be considered. While the district will evaluate the capabilities of the proposed products and the overall fit of the service provider, the primary weighted factor for selection will be cost-effectiveness. Proposals should be tailored to the district's needs, and bidders are encouraged to coordinate with the technical contact regarding specific UPS load requirements and data closet environments.
