The 379th Expeditionary Contracting Squadron at Al Udeid AB, Qatar intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Cla-Val Company for: Line Item 001: D3 Swivel Rebuild Kit, part number 20389702E, Quantity: 40 each; Line Item 002: D3 Swivel, part number 20519501K, Quantity: 30 each; plus shipping and handling. This award is unrestricted and is under North American Industry Classification System Code 332919. This sole source action is being accomplished under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The government believes that Cla-Val Company is the only known source that has the patented, proprietary, commercial product and design expertise to provide these products. These items are a part of an existing system and no equal product will accepted. This notice is NOT a request for quote, however all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation in sufficient detail if they have the capability to supply this requirement. Responses to this notice of intent shall be submitted no later than 5:00pm AST March 5, 2008. Any information received will only be considered for the purpose of conducting a competitive procurement.
