52--Notice of intent to award a sole source contract for Kipper Tool General Purpose Survey Sets in the Chippewa Falls, WI area with Kipper Tool Company.

The Wisconsin National Guard intends to award a sole source contract to Kipper Tool Company, 2375 Murphy Blvd, Gainsville, GA 30504 to acquire General Purpose Survey Sets in the Chippewa Falls, WI area. Kipper Tool is the only company that offers these tool kits put together based on the Army MTOE for the Survey and Design Detachment. This sole source requirement meets the conditions of FAR 13.501(a)(2), only one responsible source has been identified as reasonably available to provide the supplies that will satisfy the agency requirements. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423710. The Small Business size standard is 100 Employees. This will be a firm fixed price contract. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
