NA We intend to award a sole source contract to Langmuir Laboratory for Atmospheric Research, New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, 801 Leroy Place, Socorro, New Mexico 87801 for a 3-D Lightning Mapping System. In order to meet mission objectives, w e have a requirement for a ground-based lightning mapping system using GPS-based time-of-arrival measurements for accurately locating, characterizing and mapping the three dimensional structure of lightning flashed over an area 100-200 km in diameter, with 2-dimensinal coverage extending out to 400 km diameter. See Note 22 (any proposals must be received within 1 calendar day from the date of this publication).
