58--AN/SPQ-14(V)SP Advanced Sensor Distribution System (ASDS) Equipment

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) plans to award a sole source contract to Frontier Electronic Systems, Incorporated, located in Stillwater, Oklahoma, for the production of the AN/SPQ-14(V)SP Advanced Sensor Distribution System (ASDS). This contract covers the supply of up to 600 variations of ASDS equipment, which include the AN/SPQ-12(V) Radar Display & Distribution System components (excluding the AN/SPA-25G Radar Repeater), Stand-alone Radar Distribution Switchboards, Upgrade Kits, Piece Parts, and a comprehensive Technical Data Package. Frontier Electronic Systems is uniquely qualified for this work as the original designer and developer of the ASDS, making them the only provider with the necessary technical expertise and capabilities. The contract is being awarded under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as a sole source acquisition, with the government intending to negotiate exclusively with Frontier Electronic Systems.
