SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ? Battelle, Pacific Northwest Division operating the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) for the Department of Energy needs additional information to begin planning for the procurement of large quantities of security remote monitoring systems, to include both domestic and international system installations and site maintenance services. Battelle will only consider responses from established firms who are currently capable of performing in accordance with the program requirements described herein. At Battelle?s sole discretion, site visits may be scheduled in advance of releasing any subsequent Request for Proposal. Battelle is interested in understanding a potential offeror?s current security remote monitoring technology as well as understanding the offeror?s capabilities and past experience in this field of work. BATTELLE DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION OR TO OTHERWISE PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOLICITED.
