The Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division intends to award a five year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract to B.E. Meyers on a sole source basis. This firm fixed price agreement covers the procurement of Laser Dazzler systems, Safety Control Modules, and associated data. The quantity for Laser Dazzlers ranges from a minimum of one to a maximum of 75 units, while Safety Control Modules range from a minimum of one to a maximum of 100 units. The restriction of competition is based on avoiding duplicative costs and the significant time required for other competitors to obtain Laser Safety Review Board approval. Deliveries are required within 70 days of the contract effective date and will be shipped FOB Destination to NSWC Crane in Indiana. Because this is a sole source procurement, no formal solicitation will be posted to the internet, though responsible sources may submit proposals directly to the designated point of contact.
