The 50th Contracting Squadron at Schriever Air Force Base intends to award a sole source purchase order to Agilent Technologies, Inc. for the BLACKBIRD SUITE, specifically the E3238SU signals analysis system. The system processes signals up to 2.7 gigahertz and offers a 36 megahertz bandwidth with superior speed and accuracy compared to competitors. The purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, with NAICS code 335999, and the contract reference number is F3RT147128A001. An ombudsman has been appointed to facilitate the resolution of any concerns related to this acquisition, offering confidentiality but without authority to make binding decisions. Interested parties must first address concerns with the contracting officer before consulting the ombudsman. Contact details for both the ombudsman and the contracting officers are provided. The notice closes on June 15, 2007, with Rachel Williams as the Contract Specialist and Gregory Passig as the Contracting Officer for this procurement.
