White Sands Missile Range Contracting Agency plans on a sole source procurement of four Range Control Modules, Model FR-1 from Brashear LP, 615 Epsilon Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15238-2807 pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The NAICS code for this requirement is 3 34511. Brashear LP is the only company that can provide this particular embedded micro-controller due to propriety rights. The Control Modules will be direct replacements for existing lens focus controllers currently used by the range. The item must be compatable with existing optical systems and it must meet stringent computational and size requirements. Any vendor who feels they can provide the Brashear LP Range Control Module, Model FR-1 must provide supporting technical specifications.
