The United States Army Contracting Agency Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with L-3 Communications/Brashear, 615 Epsilon Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15238. This contract will be for the procurement of Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001: Unit of Issue: Each, Quantity: 2, Description: Part #719707-1, DCS Controller. USAYPG currently has L3-Communications/Brashear equipment used for video tracking in support of the Optics Division and the same instrumentation is needed to maintain compatibility in form, fit and function with existing L3- Communications/Brashear tracking mounts. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
