This contract is for the procurement of 860 digital microcircuits, specifically part number 5962-9205803MYA manufactured by Texas Instruments. Due to the critical nature of the application, awards are restricted to DLA trusted sources, such as Original Component Manufacturers, authorized distributors, or other qualified suppliers. A mandatory requirement for this acquisition is the application of Deoxyribonucleic Acid DNA marking, for which eligible contractors may be reimbursed for licensing costs from Applied DNA Sciences provided they establish a Basic Ordering Agreement. Strict traceability documentation is required to verify the authenticity of the components and ensure they are new and unused. Contractors must provide comprehensive evidence of the supply chain, such as distributorship agreements or verifiable quotations from approved sources, in accordance with DLAD clauses. Additionally, all shipments must adhere to specific military packaging and marking standards, including MIL-STD-129 for linear and 2D bar coding, with delivery directed to the DLA Distribution New Cumberland facility.
