NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) has a requirement to procure repair parts for the Radar Actuator (NSN 5925-01-232-2204), APN 10273084-3. These parts will be used in support of the RESET program for the PATRIOT Launcher. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1, where there is a supply or service available only from one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the agency's needs. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis, solicitation number W911N2-11-R-0082, AAR Defense Systems & Logistics, 100N. Wood Dale Road, Vertennes, VT 05491. The solicitation will be released O/A 15 July 2011 and close O/A 1 August 2011. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
