AI Contract Overview

This acquisition for electrical and electronic assemblies, boards, cards, and associated hardware is intended for sole-source negotiation with Raytheon Company under FAR 6.302. The requirement is limited to this specific source due to the need for ultra-precision quality, specialized test and inspection facilities, and unique design and manufacturing expertise that is not available through other sources. Furthermore, adequate technical data for the part is not available, and the acquisition is subject to Distribution Code D, meaning technical data is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act or the Export Administration Act and cannot be released outside the United States without government approval. Managed by the Department of Defense through DLA Aviation at Huntsville, the solicitation requires offerors to meet specific prequalification standards. While the government intends to negotiate with a single source, other responsible firms are encouraged to identify their capabilities or seek future source approval via the SAMSAR website. All formal communications regarding this requirement must be directed to Stacy Potts via email, including the solicitation number SPRRA212Q0030 and complete contact information.
