The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific (SSC Pacific) intends to issue Request for Quote (RFQ) No. N66001-12-T-0021 to obtain contractual support for the SSC-Pacific Advanced Photonics Technology Branch (Code 55360). The scope of the work is to fabricate passive photonic integrated circuits (PICs) in silica (SiO2) material system based on government furnished circuit designs. PICs shall be coupled resonant ring structures with low propagation loss, with integrated resistive heaters for phase tuning of individual ring stages. Filters shall have fiber optic and electrical inputs and outputs, and be fully packaged with thermoelectric temperature control. This contract will be for a Firm-Fixed-Price, purchase order.
