Notice of Intent: Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic intends to award a sole-source contract to DTECH Labs, 22876 Shaw Drive, Sterling, VA 20166 to provide testing, inspection and repair of equipment required to sustain the Special Operations Forces Deployable Node (SDN) System. DTECH is the manufacturer and authorized repair facility for the faulty materials identified for testing, inspection and repairs. The proposed contract action is for supplies and incidental services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under authority of FAR 13.106-2. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses and/or questions should be directed to Contract Specialist Kristen Smith at contact@example.gov.
