Full Description

The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Campbell, KY intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract with SeaLevel Systems Inc., 2279 Greenville Highway, Liberty, SC 29657. The requirement is for 30 cable systems to enable SFOD-Gs and SFOD-Hs to communicate across Single-Channel Tactical Satellite (SC TACSAT) data links, using Personal Digital Assistant (PDA)-184 software and their organic radios. These cable systems need to include the PDA-184 modem, have the ability to interface with the Field Computing Devices (FCDs), and be compatible with both the PRC-117G and PRC-152 radios. The NAICS code is 334220. The authority for this non-competitive award is 10 USC 2304(c) (1), only one responsible Source. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13 and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12.THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written responses are received by 1600 on 17 July 2015, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
