NASA/JSC intends to purchase the commercial hardware and services from MIKROLAR INC. by other than full and open competition as authorized by FAR Part 6.303-2(b)(4). A sole source award to a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) is being contemplated in accordance with FAR 19.1406 Sole source awards to service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns and 15 USC 657f(a) Procurement program for small business concerns owned and controlled by service-disabled veterans. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
