This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this Request for Proposal (RFP) is IBM14-27. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69. This is a Small Business set-aside. NAICS: 333611 -- 333611 Turbine and Turbine Generator Set Units Manufacturing. Offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM), which can be found at http://www.sam.gov. The IBWC anticipates award of a firm fixed price order, with a delivery date no later than 14 weeks after contract award. Quotes shall include maintenance for a period of one (1) year. The International Boundary and Water Commission (IBWC) intends to procure on a sole source basis Six(6) Unifin International generator coolers Model # MGCSP-26.0T.0F-5R-4P for replacement of existing coolers on Unifin drawing 2427271,5/8" OD-0.049" thick 90/10 CU-NI tubes with 11 FPI Extruded Aluminum fins. Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition is attached. Delivery shall be made within 14 weeks of contract award and include a 1-year maintenance period. Delivery shall be made to the IBWC's Amistad Dam: 670 Texas Spur 349 Del Rio, Texas 78840-0425 Price(s) shall be FOB Destination.
