Full Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. The Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC) White Sands Missile Range, NM intends to purchase seven (7) FCM Optic Panels with Walker & Associates Incorporated. The ADC fiber optic panels are installed inside fiber optic shelters; they must be compatible with the existing equipment and be able to fit in the present installation configuration. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is FAR 6.302. Again, this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government shall consider all responses received within seven (7) business days of this posting. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. No solicitation will be made available and all information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses are due no later than May 18, 2010 12:00 MT
