NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound will be soliciting for IT hardware in support of Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Far East in Japan. The requirement will be solicited on an unrestrictive basis as brand name or equal. FOB Destination. This requirement is to be solicited on a commercial basis, under FAR Parts 12 and 13.5. Award under this procurement will be made to the technically acceptable offer which provides the best value to the Government, past performance and price considered. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to the NECO website on or about 16 August 2016 with proposals due by 25 August 2016. A Firm-Fixed Price, supply type contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5, Commercial and Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which, if received in a timely manner, shall be considered by NAVSUP FLC PS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: https://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents.
