The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command is increasing the maximum quantity ceilings for Lithium Sulfur Dioxide Battery packages under Firm Fixed Priced, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contracts DAAB07-02-D-A204 and DAAB07-02-D-A205. These contracts are held by SAFT America, Inc. and Eagle-Picher Energy Products Corp. The action is necessary to meet rising demands from current military operations and ensure a consistent supply of batteries for tactical and strategic communications-electronics manportable equipment.
