The contract involves the procurement of two units of NSN 7H-6105-012010921, TDP VER 004, to be delivered FOB origin, with the government not owning the data rights necessary for sourcing or repairing the part from alternative sources. The procurement is planned as a sole-source action under FAR 6.302-1, but other responsible sources may submit interest or capability statements within 45 days of the notice, which will be considered at the government's discretion. The solicitation is not a competitive request, and the government is not applying FAR Part 12 policies, although interested commercial entities can express their interest within 15 days. Additionally, some items may be subject to trade agreements and Buy American provisions, depending on the inclusion of specific DFARS clauses.
