1. Amendment 0002 to solicitation 1333MK25Q0053 is to clarifying the following: The delivery address is: NOAA Ship Fairweather NOAA Ketchikan Facility, 1010 Stedman St, Ketchikan, AK 99901 2. All of the other terms and condition remain the same. 3. End of Amendment 0002. Amendment 0001 to solicitation 1333MK25Q0053 is to answer questions to interested vendors. Q1: On the Lifeline 8D with L terminals would you accept an internal thread with not and bolt, so it would accommodate the same type of cable? A1. No, we can't accept the proposed wiring with nut and bolt set up. Per Lifeline Battery Manual, section 4.2, any substitution may not be suitable. The marine terminal and threaded insert options vary greatly in form factor and electrical specification from the GPL-8DL specified for the bid, and would need to verify that they are usable with the existing wiring and enclosures we have aboard the vessel. Q2: What were the last purchase price for these types of batteries? A2: This is the first time making this purchase for batteries in bulk and therefore there is no price data saved in the file. All of the other terms and conditions remain the same. End of Amendment 0001.
