Solicitation SPE7M1-26-Q-1442, issued by the Department of Defense Maritime Supply Chain, is for the procurement of 25 units of Motor Rotors under NSN 6105-00-635-9139. The contract requires delivery within 180 days after receipt of order. This is a restricted source item that necessitates engineering source approval by the government design control activity. Manufacturers must adhere to ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and follow DLA packaging requirements. Because the manufacture of this item may require specific casting, forging, and specialized tooling that the government may not possess, offerors are directed to the DLA Casting and Forging Assistance Request process for sourcing support. Alternate offerors must provide comprehensive documentation, including all manufacturing drawings, process operation sheets, and identification of critical process sources. If original equipment manufacturer drawings are unavailable, a detailed engineering analysis report or a full reverse engineering procedure is required for submission to the engineering support activity.
