This contract, solicitation number W912J215R2530, was awarded by the Department of Defense under the Uspfo Activity Wiang 128 for the implementation of an Advantor Intrusion Detection System for a flightline. The project requires the provision of a USAF approved configuration line of detection for the Flight Line Restricted Area utilizing buried line sensors that must integrate seamlessly with the existing Advantor system. Due to the availability of only one capable source, the award was made using non-competitive procedures. Because the exact extent, duration, and costs of the work could not be accurately estimated in advance, the government utilized a time-and-materials contract type for these commercial supplies and services. The action is categorized under NAICS code 334290 and was managed through the office located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Full Description

This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because this is a task/delivery order where an exception to fair opportunity requirements was approved due to only one source being available (FAR 8.405-6(b)(1) or 16.505(b)(2)(ii)). This contract action was not awarded as a fixed price type because it was not possible to estimate accurately the extent or duration of the work or to anticipate costs with any reasonable degree of confidence. As such, a time-and-materials type action was awarded for commercial supplies and services (FAR 12.207(b)). Provide a USAF approved configuration line of detection for the Flight Line Restricted Area using Buried Line Sensor. Must integrate with existing Advantor Intrusion Detection System.
