The District of Columbia Pretrial Services Agency (PSA) is seeking a contractor to provide location monitoring services for up to 400 defendants under pretrial community supervision. The services require the use of Radio Frequency (RF) electronic monitoring with cellular receiver units for defendants on curfew and home confinement who do not have landline telephone service, as well as GPS location monitoring to track defendants’ movements outside their homes. A Pre-proposal Conference will be held to address technical questions, requiring potential offerors to register in advance. The contract is open to all businesses, with requirements for large businesses to comply with subcontracting plans that support various small business categories. Interested firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and submit proposals as directed in the upcoming solicitation, which is anticipated to be released around May 2, 2007.
