PR: F2BGAB7179A001 Filomena Gomez 15 August 2007 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE - 15 August 2007 - HANSCOM AFB intends to issue a purchase order under FAR 13.501, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Honeywell Products Inc, on a Sole Source basis to purchase the following line items: CLIN 0001: Vindicator Automated Entry Control System to integrate with our current/newly installed security network CLIN 0002: IDS Critical Spare parts This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-18 effective 30 June 2007. This requirement is determined to be available from only one source because of it unique requirements. No request for quote for this procurement will be transmitted via Federal Business Opportunities. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received within 10 days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government with an award date on or about 24 August 2007. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
