This is an Industry Day Posting for the 631-19-002 Upgrade Steam Distribution System Phase 2. Please read the Special Notice and RSVP accordingly.


Work includes the removal and upgrade of steam distribution system in Buildings 1, 4, 5, 8, 9, 15, 16. Work will be completed in multiple phases within each building as coordinated between the awarded contractor and COR. Work includes the necessary removal of existing structures, new construction, and certain other items in order to upgrade the steam distribution system as indicated in the Specifications and Drawings. Work also includes power distribution to new system components where required and upgrades or connections to the existing campus BMS to control new installations where required and the removal of existing hazardous materials including asbestos and lead paint. The scope of work also includes the construction of fire rated containment and ICRA barriers at all areas of demolition, asbestos abatement, lead removal, new construction, etc.
